There are numerous restaurants and cafes throughout the City to cater for all budgets and tastes. The market in the city centre is also well worth a visit.
Around Cambridgeshire, Peterborough has outdoor swimming available at Ferry Meadows and the Peterborough Lido but throughout the county, we have listed some alternative swim spots with some of our favourite after swim options.
We have included the Lat / Long Coordinates and "What Three Words" locations for each.
In the village of Prickwillow, just outside Ely, is a quiet spot with easy access in and out of the water.
Peacocks Tea Room (Ely)
Just next to the slip in Ely, the food is fantastic.
Also worth a mention is the coffee at Silver Oak Coffee (Ely Market).
River Terrace Cafe
A short walk from the swim, over the bridge you will find the river terrace cafe which is perfect for some lunch.
Black Robin Coffee
If you are looking for a coffee the this is the place to go.
Primarily a Scuba Diving centre but also open to swimmers.
The Dog and Doublet
Just upstream of the Lock is a small pontoon and some wooden steps for easy entry. The pub is right there for some post swim replenishment.
On the outskirts of Ferry Meadows (which also host some open water swimming) is the River Nene. The river is popular with narrow boats but this is a good access point for swimming.
